Authentic premium matcha from Japanese family farms, optimized for the European café.

Fresh Harvest

Sourced from small Japanese family farms. Nitrogen sealed at source.

About Stone & Leaf

Stone & Leaf Matcha stands on three pillars: Craft, Calm and Clarity. We bridge quiet Japanese micro-farms with the vibrant energy of Europe’s specialty café movement, supplying ceremonial and barista matcha in nitrogen-sealed 1 kg and 500 g formats. Our minimalist identity uses natural greens and soft beige tones to evoke serenity.

Craft

Our matcha is stone-milled and shade-grown, preserving umami and colour while honouring centuries of Japanese craft.

Calm

Soft greens, off-white creams and generous breathing space create a tranquil experience that reflects matcha’s meditative origins.

Clarity

Each bag lists farm name, harvest date and shading days. We share COAs and pesticide tests to assure purity and transparency.

From Our Founder

Stone & Leaf was born from a simple frustration: as matcha became popular, quality didn’t follow. After years of leading customer experience at brands like Uber, Spotify, and Delivery Hero, I realised cafés needed more than matcha: they needed higher quality, craft, and consistency. Stone & Leaf exists to bring the true matcha ritual to Europe, one café at a time.

The Bridge Between Stone & Leaf

Our name honours the traditional granite Stone mills used to grind the Leaf (Tencha) into a microscopic powder. We exist to connect Japanese micro-farms and European cafés, celebrating craft and calm along the way.

Radical Transparency

No mystery blends. Each lot includes farm origin, harvest date and shading duration to support premium pricing.

Engineered Solubility

Our ceremonial grade is milled to 5–10 µm and our barista blend to 15–20 µm to prevent clumps and dissolve in 10 seconds.

Reliable Supply

Our 2 core + 3 backup farm strategy ensures consistent flavour profiles and protection from harvest volatility.

Our Collection

Two SKUs. Zero Fluff.

We simplified the confusing world of matcha grades into two distinct profiles designed for the café menu.
